Dear Friends,

“Are We Living in States of Perpetual Anxiety?”

Truth is the common denominator in all of Creation.  The I Am of each one of us; the I Am of each individual on the planet is the SAME TRUTH, realized as per the understanding of each.  Having just stated this, and when we look around at the seeming chaos in most facets of life, we might ask: “how can this be?”  The same truth residing within each soul……?  Well, it would seem from the evidence all around us, that we still have to wake up to the truth of our being.

Life in our day-to-day earthly experience is filled with challenge; filled with issues, or lessons to be learned.  Essentially these are opportunities.  We might then ask: “opportunities for what?” Generally, we seem to be living life in a state of constant anxiety. More seems to be  unknown than known; and there are no guarantees about anything anymore. It seems the earth is currently peopled by individuals who are part of a common anxiety.  So what is the stabilizing factor; where is the balance; and how do we deal with the issues of life as they seem constantly to appear before us?

We teach the Bible stories, understanding that these are our stories too. We face many of the same challenges of the various characters portrayed. And it came to me that at this time, on this planet, are we not all in the same boat (so to speak) as the Prodigal Son, when it seemed he had hit bottom—taking care of pigs in a pigsty? It appeared he had lost all.

Right now, if we consider each country; every continent, and all the people living today, have we not fallen into that same place of despair, having “used up” all on the material level of life?  As participators in mass consciousness—forming part of the make-up of general belief and focus, can we continue to “go along” with the way things are in the world, or are we beginning to be aware?  Are we ready to wake up to who we are in Truth, knowing that this is the reality of each soul on the planet?

In the story (found in Luke Chapter 15) there is a break-through when the young man hits rock-bottom—where we read: “He came to himself..” And once we truly realize an aspect of Truth, we cannot un-know it.  We are told in the story what happened to the young man when he denied his truth and sought satisfaction and happiness outside of himself.  And are we not seeing evidence of this all around us in the world today?

There is a consequence, which is inevitable, when we try “going it alone,” and move away from the truth which is the common denominator in life. We can never actually move away from the Omnipresent Presence.  The truth of who we are, spiritually, can never change, but we move away from it in consciousness.

We are told in the story what happened to the young man when he denied his truth and tried finding satisfaction and happiness outside of himself. Well are we not seeing evidence of this all around us in the world today? There is a consequence, which is inevitable, when we try “going it alone,” and move away from our spiritual heritage.

There are many souls throughout the planet, who, through awareness are knowing and living Truth. We are united in moving forward in uplifted consciousness—this is our purpose.   Why live in perpetual states of anxiety when instead we have the opportunity each day to:  BE STILL, KNOW, AND TRUST!

In Closing…….
“Various impulses, not all of them meritorious, impel to the search for God.  These impulses are as diverse and contrary as the convictions of the disciples about the ministry of Jesus.  Some believe that spiritual achievement will bestow temporal authority; others, that it will compensate for weakness of character; and still others, that it will make available to them the material objects of their desires.  While ulterior motives are present, true faith is not possible.  The heart which is established in righteousness seeks nothing for itself, requires nothing, and demands nothing.  When we attain to a sufficient faith, all things that are needful are added.  Miracles are wrought, not as the result of faith, but by the very fact of faith.
