“Letting Go Of Judgement.”
When we sit in judgement in any way, it conveniently takes the spotlight off of ourselves. What level of life are we identifying with when we make accusations? Let us return to the teachings of Jesus, given from his Christ Consciousness, where he stated: “call no man on earth your father.” He was really indicating that we all originate from the same Divine Source, God.
It is at the core of our very being that understanding and realization of our spiritual identities begins. This is the God-center of all being, and through this recognition of the divine in ALL, any need or desire to accuse or judge falls away. Mostly in life, we judge ourselves and in fact are often our harshest critics. Yet, when we remember who we are in truth, human expectations (the expectations we load upon ourselves) lose all impact. Human values cannot count for anything alone. When we live life in harmony with truth, we live effectively.
Emma Curtis Hopkins states it well: “Effectiveness comes with letting the goodness of the merciful and tender spirit speak, instead of your condemning tendencies wherever anything appears to be evil.” I believe the emphasis is on the word ‘appears’ because if we are acknowledging and living according to our true identities as offspring of the divine, then we will see beyond appearances. And she goes on to say that: “we put up umbrellas against things that do not exist.” The reason, so often, that we do this is due to our listening to the advice, and opinions of others (of the world) instead of to that INNER VOICE that is always there to guide and direct us.
Truth, understood, can never be diminished; and we can never backtrack on this understanding. We will see a lot of both good and evil in the world if we entertain the idea of both in our minds. Yet we cannot live a “yo-yo” life and experience peace and harmony. And remember this seeing of good or evil, is seeing with our human eyes and then judging that to be truth.
We have our highest good now and it abides at the center of our being. It is pure love, not needing anything in return. And from this center of being, there is no place for accusations or judgements as these only come about when fear is prevalent. When we are centered in truth—in God, what is there to fear? When we function predominantly from our center core of true being, it is inevitable that truth will be mirrored back to us as the joy, love, peace and understanding that is bestowed on us from the beginning of creation.
Each individual has something to accomplish. Timothy was told by Paul to: “Churn up that gift that was in him.” Is it not time that we opened ourselves to possibilities of greatness? Yet let us realize that it is the greatness of Spirit operating in and through us, showing forth It’s radiance, and using each as a vehicle of expression, as we acknowledge and trust It.
Maybe the time has come to stop hiding behind the issues of the world, and allow that which is true to take precedence in our lives, as we note these words by H.B. Jeffrey: “At the place of integrity within, we find ourselves in a new Garden of Eden where there is no discrimination between good and evil, because a language is spoken which has no pairs of opposites in its great mystery. This is the place of new tongues. It is a place of the unspoken, on earth. At this place we are told to rest, for a new and more divine judgement is speaking.”
